Dynamometer Test: Results Shows
Substantial Fuel Consumption Improvement
March 15, 1999
To Whom It May Concern,
In May 1992 we treated a 4 cylinder Perkins diesel engine with Enviro Save Engine Treatment at the Pacific Marine Training Institute (PMTI) in North Vancouver, B.C. Canada. PMTI is now British Columbia Institute of Technology.
We worked closely with the staff at PMTI to evaluate the performance of Enviro-Save, when testing in their Engine Dynamometer facility. We discovered that the results were very positive after only 4 hours of operating time after the Enviro-Save Engine Treatment was administered. Unfortunately, due to the rigorous Engine dynamometer schedule at PMTI we were not able to continue running the engine after the 4 hours.
Numerous other benefits were present after treating and operating the engine for the 4 hours but the following fuel savings are very interesting and substantial.
Fuel Consumption Improved:
5% at 20% load
7.5% at 40% load
8% at 60% load
6.5% at 80% load
9.7% at 100% load
9.6% at 110% load
The numerous pages of computer printouts from the Engine dynamometer test proved that the testing equipment at PMTI is capable of monitoring every detail, which was important
Pleas do not hesitate to contact us should you have any question.
Thank you,
Yours truly
Warren Casperson

Dear Warren,
I have been telling people about Enviro-Save Metal Treatment for a long time now and thought it was time to write you a letter.
I have used your Powertrain Protection products on many vehicles over the years and swear by the excellent results. There are two specific examples I would like to tell you about.
The first is with the use in my own Honda, which was treated at 10,000 km. I sold the car at 507,000 kms. Prior to releasing the car I performed a compression test and 3 out of the 4 cylinders were still working at 100% spec. except #3 cylinder which was 95%. I never had to replace any engine component while I owned the car.
The second incident involved a small Perkins Diesel Engine for our forklift consistently over driven by an aggressive company employee. He always ran it to the max. often overheating, and when he turned it off the engine crackled and popped from the heat. Before the employee could do any long term damage, I treated the Perkins right away with Enviro Save. We ended up with 21,000 hours on the engine after being "totally fried", prior to replacing it, with any repairs or major overhauls. Very interesting results, I though you would like to know about.
Sincerely,
R. Malm

Dear Warren,
The following information pertains to the test we conducted on the hydraulic system of our Komatsu PC 120 Excavator to determine the benefits from using the Enviro-Save Metal Treatment.
We used a "Fluke 52" meter for recording ambient air and hydraulic oil temperatures. We installed thermocouples in the hydraulic tank and one on the outside of the operator's cab. Both temperatures were recorded three times a day for eight working days at 10.00 am, 12.00 pm and 3.30 pm prior to treating and after treating the hydraulic system. We did not record any temperatures for one week after adding the treatment to the hydraulic system so that the treatment had time to perform its function. The weather in June and July was very consistent which contributed to accuracy of conducting and monitoring an operating field test.
Our conclusion: Hydraulic oil temperatures were reduced 16.8 degrees F or 8.4%. The machine operated much quieter, less pump noise. The hydraulics were smoother to operate.
These results should definitely contribute to longer machine life and improved efficiency.
We look forward to receiving similar results from using your Metal Treatment products in the rest of our equipment and machines.
Yours truly,

Dear Warren,
We thought it was time to update you on the success of using Enviro-Save Metal Treatment in our excavators, since our last letter in 1993. Our Kamatsu PC 220 is still going strong since we treated it in 1993 and the following results are from our long term experience.
We treated the hydraulics at 2500 hours, the oil temperature was reduced by 8.4%, and the engine and drive train was treated at 3500 hours. At 9500 hours we noticed an increase in engine blow by and discovered that a piston skirt had cracked. We replaced all six pistons while we had the engine apart and were very impressed with the lack of wear on the pistons and no marks or damage to the bores. At 10,000 hours we had to replace the final drive cover bolts and inspected the thrust washers, while we had it apart. There was no sigh of wear, so we reinstalled them. Consequently, every time we checked the magnetic plugs for metal wear particles there wasn't any on the plugs. At 10,000 hours we also sent the engine fuel injection pump to New Wesminster Fuel Injection Service to have it checked. There was no sight of war on any parts and the pump was right on performance specks. At 14,000 hours we had Hydraulic Technologies in Langley check the condition and performance of the hydraulic pump. The pump checked out at 97% efficiency, which is excellent. We have never seen any wear particles in the hydraulic oil filters and all oils are extremely clean.
We are very pleased with the performances of Enviro-Save in all our our equipment and vehicles and we never hesitate to recommend it to others.

Re: Enviro Save Metal Products
To Whom It May Concern,
We tried the product on a fleet truck with 1.1 million kilometres of service. The driver told us that the transmission, oil and coolant temperatures had dropped. During a hard pull on the Coquihalla Hwy the transmission and engine oil temperature dropped 30 degrees and the coolant temperature dropped 15 degrees. The Enviro-Save Metal Treatment product is very good and I would recommend it to others. We will continue to use this product in all of our equipment.
Thanks Enviro Save for a product that actually does what it is supposed to do.

May 10, 2003
Dear Warren,
I wanted to inform you of the results from treating my 1998 International highway tractor with your Enviro-Save Metal Treatment Kit.
I immediately noticed the vibration and noise disappeared in the Fuller 10 speed transmission, we could never figure out what was wrong. Easier - smoothing shifting while operating cooler was also very noticeable after treating.
Prior to treating the 60 Series Detroit diesel, the engine did not run smoothly and it was slow in response when accelerating. After treating, vibrations disappeared, it ran much smoother and the RPM would increase immediately. It is hard to believe the change and how smooth it runs now and the operating temperature is much lower.
Rear ends are also operating much cooler and smoother. The power steering immediately operated much smoother. Can't feel any heat on the front steering axle hubs now. Fuel consumption is down between 5 - 10%.
I experienced similar results on my F350 Diesel Pickup and look forward to treating my charter boats.
Sincerely,
H Parsons.

To Whom It May Concern,
We have approximately $2,000,000 of heavy equipment working on our site and I would like to relate to you the amazing changes and improvements Enviro-Save Metal Treatment had done to all of it. The array of equipment we have lists out like this, Cat 980 and Terex front end loaders, two Hitachi ex 200 trac-hoes, 475 hp cat and hydraulic powered stump grinder. Duetz and hydraulic screener, cat skid-steer and numerous dump trucks, all of which have been treated with Enviro-Save power-train protection kits.
Enviro-Save is NOT an oil additive.
The resulting improvements are almost to numerous to list in a one page letter but suffice to say that it is the most incredible product line the mechanical world has ever seen. I will explain the results and then a couple of pieces of our equipment.
Across the board it has reduced significantly or eliminated all together these problems, oil consumption, blow-by, smoking, noise, vibrations, heat, leaks, bleed-downs, component wear with significant improvements in performance, hp and fuel consumption.
The Terex and the stump grinder shared the same problem all of our equipment had but I will detail their results. When we brought the Terex a few years ago, there was a note taped to the dash; add oil daily; not a teaspoon in the month since treating. The diffs; and planetary magnets could not carry any more metal; not a fleck since treating. Heavy hydraulic leaks: dry within 3-4 days, high hydraulic heat and pump noise gone in 1 day, heavy smoke and blow-by: like new.
Repeat the above for grinder will all hyd. motors leaking: dry as new now, but the biggest problem was a large, center bearing in the grinder, extremely hot, no amount of grease touched it and we told Enviro-Dave he could never help with this. Wrong, one use of their grease and 4 hours later the bearing was cold and still is. We will grease it again in a few months.
With all of our years in heavy equipment and the related repairs and maintenance, this truly is the answer to what we all have looked for and it's a one-time only treatment for the life of the equipment to boot. Half the wear, twice the life, now we understand their Enviro Saves "One treatment normally doubles the life of components." It makes no sense to not to use Enviro Save. It's a dead straight no-brainer.

Re: Treatment on Ford L8000
Dear Mr. Casperson,
In February of 1990 I purchased a new Ford L8000 with a 7.8 litre diesel engine for use as a garbage truck. It is equipped with a mT653 Allison automatic transmission. Its performance was satisfactory. The engine running temperature was approximately 200 degrees. The transmission ran at about 180 degrees. After speaking with you in 1992, I thought that Enviro-save would prove to be beneficial to the truck, especially given the challenging environment it works in. Everyday the truck was put in and out of gear almost seven hundred times, constantly stopping and going from call to call and even spending long periods of time at idle. This truck had a rigorous work schedule of fourteen hours per day, six days per week. It was working hard. Garbage trucks are often considered old after three years, and I did not want this to happen to my truck so I though I would try Enviro-Save Metal Treatment to see if it could prolong its life.
Immediately, after using the product, I noticed an increase in fuel economy. As well, the temperature in the engine dropped about 20 degrees, while the transmission dropped around 60 degrees. Even my mechanic was shocked to find such big change in drivertrain temperature. I am pleased with the cost savings and improved performance that were gained as a direct result from using your product.

Dear Mr. Casperson,
Six years after treating my 1990 Ford L 8000 with Enviro-Save Metal Treatment it was still going strong. However, I noticed that it was starting to smoke from the stack, more than I had every seen in all the years of owing it. I was immediately concerned and my mechanic told me that it was probably due for an in-frame rebuild. I was unprepared to lose my truck for a week, so he suggested we sent the oil out to be analysed just to make sure. We were shocked of the results. A seal had gone in the fuel pump and had been leaking fuel into the oil system for almost a month or so. At the time of the analysis, the truck had been running with 10 percent oil and 90 percent fuel in the crank shaft. When we changed the oil, the "oil" being drained out of the engine had the consistency of water. There were no metal shavings to be found. It was absolutely unbelievable that this engine had run for that amount of time as it was and without doing any damage whatsoever. When the fuel pump was rebuilt, the smoke cleared up completely.
I directly attribute the lack of damage to the engine to ENVIRO-SAVE. Without it, I am sure that my engine would have seized, as I was told it should have.
Due to contract demands, I was forced to rebuild the truck about a year or so later. This meant that I had to change the engine and transmission. After nine years and 15270 hours, the truck was in excellent condition, but I had to meet these requirements. When the engine was sent to Dams Ford, they could not believe that it had so many hours on it without being rebuilt. I was told that the average lifespan of that engine was approximately 8500 hours before it needs a rebuilt. I feel like I received two lives out of the engine and three out of the transmission.
The new engine was starting to smoke after three years, but after the treatment, the smoke stopped. This time I have treated the entire truck including the hydraulics, which has even brought these temperatures down. At the same time, I treated my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel. I had found that the transmission was slipping when it was cold, but ENVIRO-SAVE cleared that up. As well, I have a 1990 Acura Legend which was not starting, despite the Acura mechanics telling me there was nothing wrong with it. I treated that car, and it started without any problems at all.
My heartfelt thanks once again for introducing me to such a great product. It has save me countless dollars and many headaches. Thanks again.

Dear Steve,
I purchased Enviro-Save Metal Treatment for the Clay Township Company. I wanted to let you know how impressed I am with your product. We of course, start the fire trucks and take off immediately. Since using Enviro-Save, the trucks seem to start quicker without a dry start on the motor and run smoother. One of the fire trucks shifted gears very hard. After using Enviro-Save, it now shifts much easier and smoother. The trucks even have more power. Thank you for a great product. I have recommended it to everyone!
Thanks again,

Dear Dave Stumpo,
Just a note to say how impressed I am with the effect the Enviro-Save Metal Treatment has had on my truck.
Within the first hour of operation I began to notice a change in the way the engine was pulling and the gear changes became smoother.
Over the course of that first trip from Perth to Adelaide, a distance of 2750 kilometres one way, the truck seemed to keep on improving.
During the daytime the ambient temperature on this run can reach almost 50C. The gear box, diff and engine oil temperatures are a concern for this type of long distance run with a constant high average speed, pulling a road train grossing 80T. We noticed a significant drop in temperature (15-25C) in all of these components and the average load factor on the Caterpillar engine dropped 8-10%, saving us about the same % in fuel.
Over time we have also been very happy to note that the oil analysis, which is part of our regular servicing program, has shown a reduction in wear with the levels reducing steadily over the first 4 or 5 service intervals and remaining low.
This unit had covered 1.4 million kilometres when we treated it and has now done 1.85 million kilometres without a major rebuild or component change. Normally, I would be retiring a truck that does this type of work at 1.4 million kilometres and this one is still going strong. We have never bee able to achieve those sorts of numbers before.
I have since treated all of my trailer wheel bearings, as they are a problem also in this type of heat, and have not had a failure to date.
All of my vehicles, company and private, even my Harley Davidson's have now had the Enviro Save Treatment applied and I have seen an improvement in all of them.

Testimonial: Freightliner's Transmission Saved By Enviro-Save Metal Protecton: Owner Saves Money
Hi Warren,
We purchased Enviro-Save Metal Treatment for our two trucks from you about four years ago. A 2000 Freightliner and a 2002 Freightliner. The 2000 truck had a water loss and didn't know were it was going. The transmission was hard to shift when it was cold, come to find out the transmission was full with water (antifreeze) with the Enviro-Save in it. We dumped it out, washed it out added new oil and transmission coolant and it works fine to this day.
My 2002 truck had the same trouble as the 2000 and we did the same to it.
It was about March 9, 2009 the transmission on my 2002 started heating to 325 degrees in Seattle, WA. I checked the oil level which was full. I drove it home to St. Thomas, ON at a very high temperature. We pulled the transmission out and replaced only the pump. We put the transmission back in and it's just like new!
I highly recommend Enviro-Save! I have it in my Thermo King units as well.
Thanks Warren!

Dear Alvin:
It appears that Enviro-Save Metal Treatment is getting some attention. Due to the letter I gave you back in 1993, I have been receiving phone calls from other interested trucking related industries. Therefore, I feel this follow up letter may be helpful because I am often difficult to get in touch with.
Since 1986 I have been treating my highway tractor units and reefers. Our average run out lifetime of the tractor has jumped from 1,200,000 km to around 2,400,000 km. I usually then sell or trade the still operational units.
I have never had to replace bearings in a transmission or differential in a unit that has been treated.
On all the treated trucks that we have monitored, we have experienced a savings in fuel of 1 to 1.5 mpg. This is a substantial amount considering we keep the trucks over 2,400,000 km.
The one time treatment is considerably more cost effective than allowing the truck to become inoperative because it reduces the time in which revenue will be lost.
I have no reservations in recommending Enviro-Save Metal Treatment because of the success we have experienced since our first use in 1996.
Yours truly,
